Founder and Publisher of NYAH MAGAZINE
Marsha S. Roopchand is a single mother of two beautiful children, a daughter that is 23 years old and 13 year old son. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and over 14 years in law enforcement experience.
For a long time she have always wondered what her true purpose in life really was. There have always been unanswered questions as to what exactly was her destiny. Yet she always knew that it was something greater than her-self; it was not just about her, but what she can do to help others.
She desired to become a model and a singer, but fear and her critical judgment of herself always held her back. The one thing she desired most was to become her own boss which was instilled in her as early as a teenager. Marsha would look at Donald Trump and say, “I want to be a real estate guru like Donald Trump!” She realized that life doesn’t always work out the way you want it to, but it doesn’t mean that you give up either!
It took Marsha years to discover what she should be doing and that was to write; write to inspire others! “I was often told that I have an optimistic view on life despite my struggles of failed relationships and financial hardship.” She has found the one thing that she truly loves and that is writing! Marsha is currently the founder and publisher of NYAH MAGAZINE. She hopes to inspire others to find their passion through her writing!
The creation of this magazine was designed to give inspiration and for other women to share their stories of encouragement and perseverance despite the odds that may be working against them!
