Power in Your Thoughts-Seeing Your Vision

by

Have you heard the saying, be careful in what you ask for or be careful of the words you put out into the universe? Well your thoughts follow the same principles. Your thoughts are manifested into what you believe to be true through your actions and can result in positive or negative outcomes.

The two statements carry a lot of weight.  If you think positive thoughts, you will speak positive words resulting in positivity and the opposite is true as well. Thinking negative thoughts and speaking negative words most often leads to negative results and negativity.

Seeing your vision for your life begins by altering your thought patterns. Did you know that your subconscious is more powerful than your actual conscious? Yes, it’s true so that’s why you must condition your brain to think differently. It’s challenging of course, but it is needed for your own self development and seeing your vision come to fruition.

We become conditioned to routine, conditioned into old beliefs and traditions. Some of you remember our parents saying “Get an education and get a good job!” Well although an education is important finding a good job is not the key to fulfilling your life’s purpose and being happy. We are so accustomed to doing the norm and setting limitations on our own capabilities instead pushing beyond the norm.

What exactly is your vision? What is it that you would like to accomplish in life? Is to own your own business, be a singer, a writer, a doctor or lawyer? Whatever your vision, you must see it as it already exists! Your vision should be vivid and you MUST be passionate about it.

Set clear and realistic goals for achieving your vision. You can start by writing down your goals and create a plan for how you’re going to accomplish your goal along with a set time frame.  How you are going to accomplish the goals is the actual ACTION you will take in order to reach your goal, for example, doing your research, making phone calls, enrolling in school, etc.

Remember to think positively and declare your thoughts with your positive affirmations. Create a vision board. Your vision board will have your photo and other visual images of what you are trying to accomplish. It can be created on a construction paper or an art board that you can purchase from Walmart or an art supply store.

Avoiding negative people will benefit you greatly as you will no longer listen to their negative way of thinking. If you listen to negative individuals you will find yourself being convinced that what their saying maybe true. “Maybe she’s right, I’m too old to be a model,”  “I’m not smart enough to own my business.” You get the point! You must continue to believe in what you are doing, believe that what you are doing will be beneficial to others and that’s why it’s important! The key is, believing. Believe it is ALREADY DONE, along with your positive thinking, positive words and lose the self doubt!
