I had the pleasure of experiencing a manicure and pedicure at Girlfriends Nail Spa in Buckhead Atlanta.
The salon does not use acrylic or other harsh chemicals that dominates the salon with its fumes. It is a salon that is natural and has a warm atmosphere. The staff of the salon Vatrina Perry and Mercedes Edwards display not only excellent service, but are quite personable.
They offer the paraffin wax treatment which is used to moisturize and smooth the skin in addition to your standard manicure and pedicure for extra pricing. Your hands are placed in a tub of hot wax and then a plastic wrap is placed over the hands then into heating mitts for several minutes. My treatment was done on the hands and there was a noticeable difference. My pedicure was just as pleasurable with a basin of stones and a leg massage.
My hands remained smoother and softer even the day after. I would definitely get the paraffin treatment again along with their beautiful designs.
