How it works is the consigner (seller) gives “Alexis Suitcase” an item to sell for FREE and if the item sells the consignment shop makes a commission on the item. The consigner makes a profit as well.  The commission is based on the value of the item. Not bad right?

What makes Alexis Suitcase so different is its boutique like atmosphere with an upscale appeal. They are up to date with trends and advertise up to a size 18. The store is well kept, organized and they carry brands from Gap to Gucci! Most importantly is their staff that is very friendly.

Jayna Thompson the owner of Alexis Suitcase consignment was inspired by her mom to start the business. Her mom told her it would cost a lot cheaper to open a business and with the economy people are looking to spend less! Consumers still want to look nice and fashionable without the high pricing. Mom was right! Almost 8 years later Alexis Suitcase is still standing strong and doing well with a total of three stores located in the Metro-Atlanta area, Buckhead, Johns Creek and Sandy Springs.
